This role develops and supports components of the Walgreens Digital/Online platform within an Agile environment. The position is primarily focused on backend development using Java and Spring Boot, with opportunities to contribute to frontend development using React. The Software Engineer I will support digital capabilities related to catalog, product and store pricing that enable key online retail experiences, including shopping and checkout. Work typically involves short-term assignments for small to medium systems and requires independent judgment within defined procedures. The team member will collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to develop, enhance and support reliable digital solutions.
