Position Overview
Softgoods Associate (Temporary) – Contract ending 2026‑11‑01. Join Giant Tiger’s store team to deliver excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a high level of customer service.
- Accurately record customer transactions in the electronic cash register, mainline, and self‑checkout options.
- Replenish merchandise around the checkout area.
- Follow up on hot‑selling items, complete markdowns, and update SKU changes when needed.
- Maintain planograms, labels, tickets, and signing standards.
- Perform cycle counts as required.
- Ensure compliance with all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.
- Follow health and safety policies and guidelines.
- Keep the checkout work area clean and organized.
- Apply loss‑prevention best practices.
