Your Prospect: The Leduc Hospital is seeking a temporary Social Worker who can support emergency department and inpatient work across distinctive settings. This position requires a high degree of independent critical thinking and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. You will have the chance to provide support to patients and families across a range of clinical activities including decision‑making, finances, housing, crisis intervention, supportive counselling, resourcing, and system navigation. You will be required to prioritise workload, formulate assessments and create intervention plans while communicating closely with hospital staff. The Social Worker will demonstrate exceptional communication skills with patients, family members and hospital staff that includes appropriate and skilled Connect Care documentation.
