Job Description
Elevate your career at Marmot Basin as a Snowcat Grooming Operator, located in Jasper, Alberta. This full-time seasonal role relies on your snowcat operating expertise to maintain our ski runs effectively.
As a Grade 2 Grooming Operator, you will be expected to perform safely and efficiently while managing grooming duties and mentoring Grade 1 operators. You will work in a flexible schedule while gaining training in advanced grooming techniques and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate snowcats to maintain groomed slopes
• Attend and complete all training requirements
• Consistently report for scheduled shifts
• Lead and support Grade 1 operators
• Identify and report any safety issues promptly
Requirements:
• At least 18 years of age
• Previous full winter season operating snowcats
• Proficient with Prinoth snowcats
• Mechanical experience is a plus
• Valid Alberta driver’s license in good standing
