Job Description
A permanent full-time role in Villawood, NSW for a well established company specialising in the steel fabrication, installation and welding industry for over 35 years, for a SMP(steel, mechanical and piping) Estimator, Estimator or Cost estimator to provide estimation and reviewing contracts for various large project across NSW.
- 5+ experience in the SMP Estimation industry
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification

A normal day involves
- Review project plans and specifications.
- Develop and review estimates.
- Convert enquiries into sales.
- Negotiate project agreements.
- Meet with project managers, engineers, and vendors.
- Estimate costs using specialised software.
- Negotiate rates with vendors and suppliers.
- Review and update cost estimates.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders.
- Summarize progress and prepare for the next day
