Job Description

An established Global gold producer is seeking an experienced Senior Open Pit Production Engineer to join its Technical Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the safe and efficient delivery of mining operations while working alongside a highly experienced leadership team.

You will be responsible for leading short-term production engineering activities, optimising mine performance, and providing technical support to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.
  • Approximately 8+ years' experience in open-pit mining, with significant exposure to production engineering.
  • Strong experience in drill and blast design, mine design and short-term scheduling.
  • Proficiency using Deswik and other mine planning software.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
