About the Position
The Slitter Machine Operator is responsible for accurately slitting and wrapping rolls of printed product in preparation for shipment or transfer to the Converting department. This role requires strong attention to detail and basic mechanical aptitude to ensure precise machine setup, minimize material waste, and consistently produce high-quality finished products
What you will do as a Slitter Machine Operator
- Read dockets and confirm the information
- Set up the slitting machine as per the specifications listed
- Load, shaft and run rolls through the slitting machine
- Input informationpertaining to the job into TORI
- Confirm slit size and “slit” pass with Extrusion and Slitting Manager
- Prepare 6 cores, cut cores, obtain material required for the next shift
