Job Description
Utilize your expertise in Indigenous economic development as the Business Development Coordinator at Skeena Gold + Silver Limited. Focus on entrepreneurship support for Tahltan businesses at the Eskay Creek project.
This pivotal role reports to the Senior Contracts Lead, facilitating the Entrepreneurship Program established under the Impact Benefit Agreement. You will assist Tahltan Members with contracting opportunities and help them gain meaningful economic benefits rooted in their governance and cultural practices. Engaging closely with both internal and external stakeholders will be crucial to your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer the Entrepreneurship Program and micro-credit fund
• Monitor program budgets and expenditures regularly
• Coordinate business development workshops for Tahltan businesses
• Provide support and guidance to Tahltan entrepreneurs
