About the role:


We are looking for a Site Operative for a minimum of 100 hours a month (23 hours per week on average) within the Northumberland PFI Operations team.

  • Based out of Alnwick Transfer Station and HWRC NE66 2HT
  • £12.81 per hour
  • Your main duties will be to cover holidays, sickness and training days at Alnwick, but may be required to travel elsewhere in the Region and as such own transport is essential.
  • £180 pro rated bonus achievable when objectives are achieved per month
  • Opportunity to learn shovel operator and weighbridge duties.

    • The duties include:

  • Advising and assisting the public on how to use the site in order to maximise recovery of material deposited in the sites.
  • Maintaining accurate records for the removal of material from the site and of all activities on the site.
