Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Operate heavy-duty shovels, hydraulic cable or dragline to excavate load and move large quantities of earth, rock or other materials with precision.
- Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on shovel equipment, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Interpret grade stakes, blueprints and site plans to accurately position the shovel and achieve desired excavation depths and contours.
- Safely maneuver the shovel around active work sites, adhering to traffic control plans and maintaining safe distances from other equipment and personnel.
Qualifications
- UAE Driving License is a must.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B, often required for transporting equipment or materials.
