Job Description
Job Title: Shop Foreman
Reports to: ROB VAN HEISE
Location: LONGVIEW TX
Position Summary: The Shop Foreman oversees daily shop operations, coordinates workflow, supervises technicians AND, enforces safety and quality standards, and ensures on-time completion of production and repair work.
The Foreman acts as the primary point of contact for personnel issues, scheduling, equipment maintenance, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of 8 technicians, machinists, and/or mechanics; assign tasks and monitor performance.
- Schedule daily work, prioritize jobs, and allocate resources to meet customer deadlines and production targets.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications; inspect work and perform final checks.
