Job Description
Network Operation Centre (NOC) Shift Engineer
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage critical facility systems including power (generators), cooling (HVAC), and fire suppression.
- Ensure uptime and availability of all facility‑related services.
- Conduct “eyes on glass” monitoring for facility equipment alarms.
- Perform alarm analysis and propose suggestions to reduce alarm noise to engineering teams.
- Monitor network performance, analyze logs, and respond to alerts and incidents.
- Handle incident management: record incidents, escalating as needed, and ensure timely resolution. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, system administrators, vendors) to resolve complex issues.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date network documentation for BMS systems, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Document changes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference.
