Cleveland-Cliffs, Rockport Works is looking for a Shift Manager Operations in our Shipping Department. This frontline leadership role is responsible for coordinating safety and quality efforts while overseeing production, ensuring compliance with all safety, quality and operational standards.
Summary of Responsibilities:
+ Ensure all safety protocols, environmental regulations and operational procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe work environment
+ Provide direct supervision and leadership to hourly union production employees across assigned shifts
+ Monitor and manage production performance to meet quality and efficiency goals
+ Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and effective operations for the shift
+ Complete and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to production, quality and safety
+ Administers discipline as required...
