Job Description
Position Overview
The role involves roof-related sheet metal fabrication and installation for commercial or residential roofing projects. Candidates with a Red Seal Sheet Metal Worker certification (or working toward it) are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure job sites and fabricate/install roofing sheet metal components.
- Operate sheet metal equipment to cut, punch, drill, shape, and straighten metal.
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Fabricate custom components such as:
- Scuppers
- Flashings
- Other roofing-related metal products
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Modify or fabricate parts on-site using hand and power tools.
- Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment safely.
