Job Description
Purpose of the Job
To receive and distribute explosive and explosives accessories safely and accurately to and from the licensed delivery bay at accordance with legal requirements including the governance of the Explosive Act (26 of 1956 8.1.1 and chapter 6).
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements Grade 12/STD 10 NQF 4 Equivalent is essential South African Police Service Security Clearance proof is essential 1-3 months Experience as a shaft helper is essential Competencies Relevant Standard Procedures (SWP AND SWP ) Mine Health and Safety Act Explosive Act Equipment and material handling (SWP ) PPE (SWP 03.02) Explosive Relieving and dispatch Procedure Basic communication Skills Good Observation Skills Key Performance Areas Responsible for all required symbolic signs to be displayed.
