Job Description
Expand your teaching horizons with Six Nations Polytechnic as a Sessional Instructor in the University Year 1 Consortium program. Prepare and deliver engaging lectures while supporting Indigenous education within the community.
SNP is looking for dedicated sessional instructors passionate about teaching Indigenous Knowledge. You will be responsible for course preparations, developing assessments, and evaluating student progress in a community-based environment. This role is part of a one-year program that partners with six Ontario universities to provide a unique educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver 12 three-hour lectures during the term
• Prepare course materials and instructional resources
• Design assignments, tests, and conduct final assessments
• Grade assignments and submit final course marks
• Hold regular office hours for student support
