Department of Electrical and Software Engineering at the University of Calgary seeks a Sessional Instructor for the Fall 2026 semester (September1 – December ) to teach ENSF614 – Advanced System Analysis and Software Design.

Course Description

Advanced topics in system analysis, system thinking, requirements engineering, quality software design, design patterns, and system‑level software analysis.

Course Schedule

• Lecture: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30am – 10:45am
• Labs: Wednesday, 3:00pm – 3:50pm

Qualifications

• Minimum: Master’s degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering.
• Required: Demonstrated background in the subject matter of the course and a strong teaching record or potential for excellent teaching performance.
• Preferred: Registered as a Skilled Engineer in a Canadian province.
