Job Description
Service Technician – Palfinger Cranes
Company: Sime Darby Transport (NZ) Ltd specializes in diagnostics, hydraulic maintenance, service and repair of heavy equipment. This is a full‑time, permanent role based in Wiri, Auckland.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair of Palfinger cranes, tail lifts and hook loaders.
- Perform diagnostics using electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Support a skilled workshop team and provide service to a range of products.
- Maintain safety standards and assist colleagues.
- Handle customer relationships and support troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Level 4 heavy certificate or three to five years’ mechanic experience servicing and repairing heavy machinery.
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience with electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Current full driver’s licence.
