Job Summary
NOV is currently recruiting a Service Technician to perform downhole tool dismantling, cleaning, inspection, assembling, testing, repairs, and other duties associated with the service center in Nisku, AB. Dayshift 6am–2:30pm. This position is classified as safety sensitive, and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre‑employment testing.
Primary Responsibilities
- Safely dismantle, clean, inspect, assemble, repair, test and paint downhole tools per NOV standards of quality and safety.
- Ensure that all serviced tools are in acceptable working order and maintained/serviced per NOV procedures.
- Complete all necessary documentation and data entry during service process.
- Perform equipment inspections as per required procedures.
- Maintain 5S / housekeeping of work area.
- Communicate to management any issues with equipment, tools, inspections, and HSE concerns.
