Job Description
The SERVICE ENGINEER shall have the following qualifications:
- 3+ years hands-on experience with marine diesel engines (Auxiliary Engines Wartsila / MAN / Yanmar or similar).
- Proven background infull engine overhauls , including:
- Cylinder head, piston, liner work
- Fuel injection system
- Turbocharger handling
- Bearing and crankshaft measurements
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow overhaul procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
- Must be capable ofleading a small team and ensuring safe work practices.
- Technical education in mechanical/marine engineering (degree or technical college).
- English communication at a level adequate to coordinate with superintendent and vessel crew.
