- Ensure buses are dispatched from the district according to the scheduled departure time and monitor bus captains who are not reporting 10 minutes before bus dispatched time and report if necessary.
- Ensure buses are dispatched on schedule during PM changing shift and monitor bus captains who are not reporting 10 minutes before bus dispatched time and report if necessary.
- Monitor spare captains report on time and deploy them to replace the absentees without causing disruption to the service.
- Prepare waybills and records for dispatching (interim until full implementation of AVMS).
- Report captain’s attendance daily after dispatching of buses.
- Issue waybills, timecards and spare service plates to captains (interim until full implementation of AVMS).
- Coordinate with morning standby vehicle mechanic on the repair of breakdown buses in the morning.
