The Service Advisor is responsible for supporting the administrative and customer service needs of the Service Department. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring service requests are processed accurately and efficiently while helping the department meet and exceed customer expectations.
Essential Functions
â˘âGenerate repair orders based on customer service requests
â˘âAnswer and route incoming service department phone calls to appropriate personnel
â˘âProvide service estimates to customers as needed
â˘âProcess all repair orders prior to equipment drop-off or pickup
â˘âPrepare and manage shipping and delivery documentation
â˘âComplete billing and invoicing for all service department work
â˘âApply parts to service technician work orders accurately
â˘âObtain customer signatures on repair orders at equipment drop-off and pickup
â˘âProcess purchase orders (P.O.s) for vendors and shop merchandise
