Job Description
Senior Transmission Planning Engineer Shift work and up to 24 months temporary assignment.
Responsibilities
Lead or contribute to the development of bulk transmission plans, regional plans, and special purpose plans ensuring reliable performance of the transmission system.
Project‑manage the development of plans and planning products, including documentation of objectives, outcomes, deliverables, milestones, and schedules.
Maintain familiarity with load‑flow simulation, economic evaluation, risk evaluation, and electricity resource modelling tools used for transmission system assessment.
Participate in economic evaluation of options for meeting reliability needs as a transmission‑planning subject‑matter expert.
Guide and improve planning processes, procedures, tools, and assumptions; provide quality assurance and quality control.
Engage with stakeholders, communities, and First Nations representatives; occasionally serve as...
