Job Description
To coordinate and provide job instructions to the shift teams to ensure smooth and safe running of the terminal operations. Operate the DCS in the terminal.
- Coordinate with Logistics Department to ensure all vessels, barge, feed and rundown requirements are met with objective of zero major customer complaints.
- Coordinate commissioning and decommissioning of terminal facilities.
- Take necessary actions to resolve operational problems; accurately record all activities in the shift log.
- Investigate high discrepancies in custody transfer; issue Letters of Protest (LOPs) to surveyors and ships as required.
- Monitor all product transfers closely to ensure correct quantity and prevent overfilling or overflow.
- Guide and train new operational staff.
- Coordinate with shipping agent for timely vessel berthing and unberthing.
