Overview:

• Celanese is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Bishop, TX.


• This individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment.
• The need to be highly proficient in troubleshooting and demonstrate those skills to ensure that equipment operates efficiently and safely.

They also need to have a good understanding of machinery and know how to operate the equipment.   Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine preventative and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.


• Perform precision alignments using laser alignment tools, dial indicators, and other instruments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications.
• Perform machine work using a lathe, mill, and drill press.
• Complete level C RCAs on failures.
