The Senior Technical Specialist – ERP Deployment & Cutover is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the technical deployment of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a smooth transition from a legacy system to the new ERP environment, minimizing downtime and business disruption during cutover. The incumbent actively participates in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase to develop a deep understanding of system functionality, business processes, and integration points. Through this involvement, the role ensures readiness to support deployment activities, anticipate technical and operational challenges, and effectively execute cutover plans. This early engagement enables the specialist to validate deployment assumptions, refine runbooks, and contribute to a successful and efficient Go‑Live.
