Senior Technical Officer - Mechanical Systems - Boeing

Full-time Mechanics, Machinists & Tool Operators

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and approve mechanical system technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and compliance reports.
• Lead failure investigations and root‑cause analysis for the P‑8A fleet, providing corrective action recommendations.
• Coordinate design modifications and engineering changes in collaboration with cross‑functional teams and the NZDF customer.
• Ensure all work adheres to Boeing, FAA, and military aerospace standards and regulations.
• Utilize CAD tools (SolidWorks) to produce and validate mechanical designs and stress analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of aerospace or defence experience.
• Proven expertise in aerospace standards (e.g., MIL‑STD, FAA) and technical documentation processes.
