**General Responsibilities:**
Responsible for supporting the organization’s tax function by researching tax planning strategies, assisting with compliance through the preparation and filing of tax returns, and reporting to ensure accurate financial statements. The role has a flexible schedule and will by hybrid/remote after a period of training.
**Essential Roles and Responsibilities:**
Tax Planning and Strategy:
+ Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax positions (meals and entertainment study, research and development study, wage credits, etc).
+ Assist with tax calculations for acquisitions (338(h)(10) elections, etc.)
+ Research and analyze tax regulations, legislation and summarize findings and recommendations for management.
