Description
This company is seeking a senior -level systems engineer to support a major virtualization modernization initiative involving the migration of approximately 50% of its applicable workload from VMware to Microsoft Hyper-V.
The engineer will help plan and execute the migration while providing ongoing engineering and operational support for the Hyper-V environment. This is not a general VMware or infrastructure engineering role with occasional Hyper-V exposure. The organization needs a Microsoft virtualization specialist who has directly owned production Hyper-V clusters and can independently troubleshoot complex clustering, compute, networking, and storage issues.
