Job Description
**Supplier Development Engineer**
The Supplier Development Engineer (SDE) is responsible for improving Supplier Performance to a new standard; this includes, NPI Launches, Supplier Resourcing, Supplier Consolidations, Supplier Audits, Supplier Continuous Improvement activities on current production and new product introductions. Drive Top Supplier Focus Meetings focused on fixing and/or eliminating Suppliers causing Operations the greatest problems through systematic, data driven processes that ensures corrective actions are in place through documented Supplier Quality Improvement Plans.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Interface with Operations, Quality, Production Planning, Category Managers, Project Managers, and Engineering for the development and release of Best-in-Class Suppliers that support Commodity Strategies
+ Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product, cost, quality, capacity and fulfillment ensuring suppliers are able to meet del...
