Job Description
Senior Structural Timber Designer required in Port Elizabeth.
Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in the timber structural design
- Advanced experience with design software such as ITS, MiTek, Multinail or Pamir
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles, timber engineering, and building regulations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Key Performance Areas:
- Design and optimise complex timber structural systems
- Perform load calculations and structural analysis
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications
- Prepare detailed manufacturing documentation and layouts
- Provide technical support to production, sales, clients and project teams
- Assist with project delivery from concept through to installation
