Hydraulic Structures Engineer – Prairies & North Team, Lethbridge or Calgary, Alberta

You will contribute to planning, analysis, and design of structural systems for water‑related infrastructure projects across the Prairies. The role involves working closely with experienced engineers, multidisciplinary teams, and client stakeholders to deliver resilient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural engineering fundamentals to support the design and assessment of water and infrastructure projects.
• Perform reinforced concrete and structural steel calculations under supervision, contributing to safe and reliable designs.
• Support the analysis and design of hydraulic structures such as spillways, weirs, culverts, headwalls, floodwalls, and retaining structures.
• Assist with evaluating hydrostatic, hydrodynamic, uplift, soil, ice, debris, and seismic loads relevant to water infrastructure.
