Job Description
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer transport inquiries and RFQ requirements to engineer efficient, scalable, and cost-effective road freight solutions.
- Review and interpret customer transport inquiries and complex RFQ requirements, accurately define project scopes, constraints, and operational targets.
- Clean, structure, and analyze historical customer shipment data to identify volume trends, geographical lanes, seasonality, and optimization opportunities.
- Design and engineer optimized transport solutions, including route planning, milk-runs, distribution networks, and fleet utilization strategies.
- Develop detailed technical proposals and accurate commercial costing architectures that balance market competitiveness with company profitability guidelines.
- Act as the primary liaison between Sales and Operations to ensure all engineered solutions are logistically viable, operationally practical, and commercially profitable.
