Join Careem's Engagement team on the Benefits Platform squad — the team that builds the systems behind promotions and discounts driving a significant part of Careem's business. You will design, build and scale backend services for millions of customers across MENA, working in a hybrid environment with 2 days in office and 3 WFH weekly.

Responsibilities

• Design and build highly scalable, robust backend applications and services
• Write high-quality, performant, and reliable code on defined features independently
• Understand functional specifications and deliver complete end-to-end features
• Participate in the on-call rotation and resolve incidents within defined SLAs
• Contribute to agile and engineering practice evolution
• Mentor peers and collaborate across cross-functional teams
