Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Infrastructure) to join the VTEX Network team. This team manages the core connective tissue of our cloud platform, being responsible for CDN, Cloud Connectivity, Ingress, DNS, and Service Mesh.
In this role, you will tackle one of our most critical engineering challenges: the evolution of our Service Mesh. Currently, VTEX relies on a highly performant, custom‑built router (developed in .NET) that acts as our service mesh, processing millions of requests per second and serving as the backbone for all VTEX applications. Your mission is to help evolve this mission‑critical infrastructure, leading the transition toward a market‑standard stack (like Istio ), with zero downtime and absolute reliability.
This is a role at the deep intersection of software engineering and scalable infrastructure, requiring extreme care for performance, resilience, and system architecture.
