Remitly is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE3) to join the Customer Data Platform team within the Identity & Trust organization. The platform runs on AWS and supports high‑throughput, high‑availability services critical to Remitly's products and regulatory obligations. What You Will Do
Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services and APIs. Break down complex features into components that can be delivered in parallel. Drive team‑level projects from technical design through production readiness. Guide application design decisions and promote long‑term maintainability. Proactively identify and mitigate technical debt and operational risks. Improve system scalability, reliability, and performance. Provide strong code and design reviews and mentor SDE peers.
