Are you an experienced SEN Caseworker ready for your next opportunity? We are recruiting a Senior SEN Caseworker to join the statutory SEN team on an initial 12-week assignment, with the potential to extend or become permanent, subject to performance.
This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact, managing statutory SEN casework for children and young people aged 0 to Year 7. The role is equivalent to SEN Caseworker or SEN Coordinator positions in other local authorities and does not include line management.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage a statutory SEN caseload, including EHC needs assessments, EHC Plans, annual reviews and phase transfers.
Consult with education settings and liaise with families, schools and partner agencies to progress casework.
Handle complex casework, placement issues, escalations and panel preparation within statutory timescales.
