Job Description
**Overview**
Responsible to the Human Resources Director for developing, implementing, and coordinating safety and environmental policies and programs in an assembly manufacturing operation to comply with state and federal regulations and Company policy.
**Responsibilities**
+ Establish and promote the maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions and recommend measures to reduce or eliminate industrial accidents and health hazards in compliance with OSHA regulations.
+ Advise management on the practical and necessary steps to prevent safety and health hazards from arising as a result of manufacturing operations.
+ Responsible to ensure regulatory compliance for the facility, to include fire prevention systems, chemical storage, material handling, etc.
+ Responsible for enforcement of safety and environmental regulations and policies throughout the facility, to include corrective actions for non-conformance.
