Senior Roadway Designer – Markham, London, Hamilton, Brampton, ON

This role is part of the Transportation team based in Ontario, where you will work on a variety of projects, preparing preliminary design reports, detailed designs, contract specifications, shop drawings, and supporting project proposals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary design reports (PDR), design criteria, and detailed designs for new and rehabilitated divided highways, arterial regional roads, collector roads, and local roads.
• Create preliminary designs for CADD staff and review drawings to ensure compliance with industry and client standards.
• Prepare contract specifications, tender documents, and applications for agency approvals.
• Review and issue finalized shop drawings.
• Coordinate and mentor junior staff within the division.
