As a Senior Research and Development Chemist, you will develop water-based architectural coatings formulations. You will ensure competitiveness in cost, performance, and quality, and provide technical support to manufacturing plants. This support will ensure operational continuity and compliance with safety standards.

You will report to Supervisor S&T Product Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Reduce formulation costs while ensuring quality, performance, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure continuity of manufacturing operations.
• Adjust non-conforming batches.
• Update formulas and technical specifications.
• Execute new product and process development projects.
• Improve existing formulations to increase efficiency.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and timelines.
• Provide technical support to plants in Mexico and Panama.
