Arcadis is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Rail Transportation Planner to join our growing Transportation Planning team. This role can be based in Vancouver, Calgary or Toronto.
In this senior-level role you will have extensive experience in managing a range of rail focused transportation planning and engineering, public transit (including passenger rail, LRT and BRT), business cases, strategy and major projects.
You will have a passion for sharing your knowledge and for being an advisor and mentor to your team, building skill sets and capability within the team including:
- Upstream studies on public transport networks (potentiality studies / feasibility studies / preliminary design / ridership forecasts, on LRT, metro, BRT and railway projects);
- Expertise on LRT, BRT or passenger rail projects (passenger and traffic forecasts, costs, mode selection, operation, urban integration, ticketing and revenue,...
