Project Details

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will provide commercial and cost management services on construction and infrastructure consultancy commissions in Newark-on-Trent and across the East Midlands.

Specific project sectors are not currently known. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work across the full project life cycle, including NEC contract administration, procurement, cost control, payment, change management, dispute avoidance and final account negotiations.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage commercial activities at project level and provide informed advice to clients and project teams.

Key duties will include:

Interpreting and administering NEC contracts and other standard forms of construction contract

Reviewing contractual terms and advising project teams on obligations, notices and commercial procedures
