Senior Engineer (20+ Years Experience)
Reports To: Executive Management / President
Location: Ohsweken, Ontario
Employment Status: Full-Time
Position Purpose
The Senior Engineer provides strategic technical leadership, professional oversight, and expert engineering judgment across FNESL's portfolio of infrastructure and capital projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and mentorship of technical staff.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide senior engineering oversight and qualified sign-off
- Review and approve designs, drawings, reports, and cost estimates
- Ensure compliance with legislation, codes, and professional obligations
- Act as FNESL's senior technical authority on complex projects
- Provide expert technical advice to leadership and clients
- Act as a Project Engineer and/or Project Manager
- Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
