Photons PDK Design Automation Engineer
This role focuses on developing and maintaining the internal Process Design Kit (PDK), acting as the architect of the component library and bridging photonic device design with system‑level verification. Responsibilities include building libraries of pcells, developing LVS decks across foundry technologies, performing device and parameter extraction, troubleshooting LVS mismatches, collaborating across teams, implementing regression testing and continuous integration pipelines, and contributing to related automation projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a library of pcells using Python‑based layout frameworks, ensuring strict synchronization between physical layout, logical netlists, and behavioral models.
