Job Description
Lead end-to-end logistics for the Domestic Protein Division across ocean freight, over-the-road transportation, cold chain operations, warehousing, inventory, and intermodal flows to ensure reliable, cost-effective execution.
Oversee inbound ocean freight imports into Canada from global origins, including bookings, carrier performance, customs handoff, inland execution, and cold chain integrity through final warehouse delivery.
Lead and develop a high-performing team by building accountability, strengthening capability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational discipline.
Own logistics budgets, resource allocation, and performance outcomes with clear accountability for service, cost, and scalability.
Lead carrier, drayage, and 3PL sourcing activities, including RFQs, benchmarking, rate negotiations, and commercial agreement development across the US and Canada.
