Senior Network Engineer

Full-time Networks & Systems

This is a long‑term independent contract position calling for a Senior Network Engineer to support key project work.

Specifically, the client needs a skilled engineer experienced in IP/MPLS design.

You will join a highly capable team and must be able to hit the ground running and quickly become familiar with the existing network and broader technical landscape.

You will step into an established environment and make an immediate impact across critical network projects.

With the head office based in Christchurch, candidates currently living in the area are preferred.

What you’ll bring

• At least five years of professional work experience operating as a senior in the network engineering field.
• Proficient in Juniper and Cisco MPLS design skills and experience.
• Confident multicast design experience.
• At least a conceptual understanding of VHF over an IP Network.
