Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Mining Geotechnical Engineer to join our Canadian Mine Sector team. This client‑facing, technical role requires 15–20 years of direct mining sector geotechnical engineering experience.
Role Accountabilities The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams to plan and deliver mine tailings and waste rock investigations, designs, and management solutions across a range of complex mining projects. This includes preparing technical reports and work plans, performing engineering evaluations of tailings facilities, waste rock storage areas, and water‑management structures (e.g., dams, dykes, diversion systems), and coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies. The candidate will act as or grow toward serving as an Engineer of Record (EoR) or Deputy EoR, providing technical oversight and ensuring engineering integrity across projects.
