Step into the critical role of Senior Mine Engineer with Agnico Eagle at the Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake. Focus on optimizing production schedules and aligning strategic plans for mining operations.
As a Senior Mine Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Superintendent and be a pivotal part of the Engineering Department. Your responsibilities will involve developing weekly and long-term production plans while ensuring compliance with budget targets and operational delivery. Engage effectively with Mine Operations leadership and maintain a commitment to Agnico Eagle’s values and Health & Safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and optimize weekly and 3-month execution plans • Produce and maintain rolling 12- and 18-month production schedules • Lead and validate annual MRMR scheduling deliverables • Track cycle times and productivity metrics • Collaborate with departments to minimize conflicts
