Job Description
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Senior Mechanical Engineer will work closely with other discipline engineers and technical coordinators.
Responsibilities
- Design and perform calculations for handling equipment such as cranes (electric and hydraulic), gangways, launch and recovery systems, and winches according to specifications and budgets.
- Conduct FEM analysis (ANSYS) and manual calculations (Excel, Mathcad, etc.), including documentation.
- Assist the Concepts and Solutions department with technical expertise and contribute during sales and pre‑engineering phases.
- Prepare production documentation (2D drawings).
- Populate and drive the quality of the Seaonics Product Library.
- Prepare documentation for class approvals.
- Contribute to production of technical documentation for installation parties and end‑users.
