Role Overview
AtkinsRéalis is a leading private sector nuclear engineering group proud of its 60-year legacy in Canada and worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical/Piping Designer to support engineering roles for nuclear projects, including new builds in Ontario, international new builds, refurbishments, and continuous plant operation support for nuclear power plants.
Duties
- Review the status of existing buildings prior to project design, performing site take‑offs.
- Assist in developing designs and technical specifications for HVAC, boilers, plumbing, chilled water, building controls, and related systems.
- Share knowledge and assist colleagues on multiple projects.
- Prepare drawings and construction documents.
- Coordinate system requirements with electrical, architectural, and authority bodies.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to review construction progress.
